Description

Countess Benoit of Mountshire is well known for her Iron fist and no-nonesence approach to he law; if you've broken it, you'll be punished, and punished harsh.

Benoit is from my D&D Campaign, and was originally the Captain of the Guard in a town the players visited. When the old Earl of Mountshire passed away (i.e. he was killed by the players for being a Vampire) she decided to try and get the postion, though more because she didn't want the old Earl's next of kin and longtime rival of hers to get it instead, knowing his level of corruption. Now that she is in power, thanks to the backing of the characters infront of the King, Mountshire is finding itself in a nice new level of security and safety. However some still worry, knowing her harsh ways when it comes to punishment and law, and fear that the future may not be so bright with her...

I enjoy playinger her as a PC because of her absolute Lawfulness, when others try to do something even remotely dodgy it's a comment of "Continue that and you won't have a hand to try it again afterwards." And they said being Lawful was boring :P

This took around a night and a day to complete, using a few new techniques but mostly sticking with my tried and tested ones. For some reason the face/eyes were a real pain and I spent hours trying to make them look right, though I couldn't quite figure what it was that made them look wrong to me. I also decided to go with plain armour because despite her position she is about functionality over glamour.

As ever I am happy to hear your comments on this and any suggestions for improvement :)

Nice! The armour looks amazing, all the shadows and light bouncing off it like that. Especially with the shadow from the sword. Everything in this picture is a part of the rest of it, and that's awesome.
For the face... if you used sharper shadows and light around the nose, you might define it more and give her more solidarity. As it is her face does look a little soft, with the eyes being the only sharp feature. (not overly bad considering that actually suits her character, but for other purposes a bit more of a balance would help you in the future.) I would suggest that the hairline and top of the head are a little too high, but otherwise her proportions look quite realistic. You've made even more improvements since the last stuff I've seen from you! :D Did you use a reference?
But yeah, good job overall~ <3
