The Chase

Inspired by the new game Chronicles of Elyria, it's uncommon for me to do fanart of any sort these days but the idea of how this game works and what it offers just gave me ideas for stories. I wrote up an accompanying story, The Red Axe Bandits.

I don't know how many hours I spent on this piece, but I've been working on it off and on for over three weeks. I'd hazard about 12 hours have been spent on it since, coming back to it time and time again to try and improve on the quality or shading or colours or the like throughout. While I still feel like I could keep working on it, if I did I'd probably never be done trying to improve it, and I'm happy with how it looks. Perhaps one day down the line I'll return to it with more skill to sort it out better.
